| Bedside cabinets are designed to be located alongside a bed, hence the name. They are frequently used to store items that the person using the bed may need at some during the night, and a pair of reading glasses, an alarm clock, a lamp, books and a glass of water are among the items most commonly placed on top or inside of them. As far as extra features are concerned, some bedsides may have a small cupboard, drawers or both.
