How do I order furniture from you?
FurnitureCamden only accepts orders thru our website. You can order online by clicking the “ADD to CART” button next to the item you wish to purchase. You have the choice of adding and removing items at anytime.
What happens next?
1. We received your order.
2. A Sales Administrator confirms the order via email, normally within minutes of receiving it.
3. If goods are in stock, we instruct the courier company to collect your items.
4. Once collected the courier company will call you days in advance to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
5. The goods are being delivered on the day and at the time arranged with the courier company.
6. Items are being taken to your room of choice
What payment options do you have?
We accept all major credit cards and debit card; Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Solo, Visa Electron, Switch / Maestro. We use a service provided by “Streamline part of Royal Bank of Scotland” in partnership with one of the largest independent Payment Service Providers in the UK called Protx part of the Sage Group; needless to say that both of these companies use the most secure and up to date security systems to protect the consumer. As we use third party services FurnitureCamden.co.uk has no access to your credit or debit card details.
We also accept payment by cheque or bank transfer and via Pay Pal. For details on how to use these payment options please email us.
Are all your prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices and delivery charges include VAT at 15%
How and when my furniture is being delivered?
FurnitureCamden.co.uk operates a Two Man Delivery Service for large items where orders can be delivered within 4 to 14 working days (on average 10 or less); for areas outside England & Wales some few extra days are need it depending on where you are. Please email us for more info. Our Delivery people will call you days in advance to arrange suitable delivery date and 1-2 hours on the day prior to delivery. They will take the furniture into your room/s of choice.
How much is your delivery charge?
£39 regardless of how many items you order. This charge is just a contribution toward the real price FurnitureCamden.co.uk is being charged.
What happens if I want to cancel my order?
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. The seven day cooling off period starts from the moment to order is placed to ‘7 working days starting the day after delivery. You must notify us by email within 7 working days from delivery with your intention to return the item
This only applies to our Standard Finish Items. Special Finish/Made to Order Items returned to us will have a 50% handling fee applied to the refund.
Please also note that mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened.
Mattresses which have been opened and slept on cannot be returned; if you wish to test the mattress please ensure you keep it wrapped until you are sure you want to keep it.
What if furniture doesn't fit up my stairs?
Most of the larger items of furniture that arrive fully assembled can be partially dismantled to fit through confined or awkward spaces. If, after taking your own measurements, you decide you would like the delivery company to dismantle (and then reassemble) your furniture for you, please let them know in advance of scheduling the delivery.
On the rare occasion that the items cannot be fitted in the chosen room, we will return them to our warehouse and give you a full credit to purchase other goods. We do however; have to charge for the failed delivery at a cost of £50 per order.
What happens if the furniture arrives damaged?
Goods that are damaged on arrival with the customer will be replaced at no additional cost. It is in the customers own interests to unwrap and fully inspect all furniture at the time of delivery.
Customers have up to seven days following delivery to report damage, but claims must be supported by photographs and it is the responsibility of the customer to show the damage has not been caused by any misuse or mishandling following delivery. All claims must be supported by photographs.
Can you be careful of my new carpet/new floor?
Staff making deliveries are required by law to wear protective footwear at all times. As they are not allowed to remove this footwear when unloading the vehicle, gaining access to the property, or carrying furniture into the property, we strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring. We do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work.
Are all items on your website in stock?
Most items are. Please email us with the “item code” and we will let you know. If you have placed an order and the item is not in stock and your not willing to wait while we source this for you , please let us know and we will refund you money same day, where possible.
Do you have catalogues?
In an effort to keep our costs (and therefore our prices) as low as possible, we don't print paper catalogues. Instead, we have an extensive selection of furniture on display here on our website. Can you send me a manufacturer's brochure?
Due to frequent changes in styles, fabrics and finishes, most manufacturers don't offer comprehensive brochures of their ranges. However, if there is an item you are interested in that is not shown on our site, we may be able to e-mail a photo for you to look at. E-mail us for more information.
Can I collect my order?
Of course you can. This has to be pre-arranged with us. The warehouse is open 7 days a week and is based in Winchester. During Monday to Friday Warehouse stuff will be able to help you load goods into your vehicle , however, on Sat & Sun please make sure you have someone to help you.

Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase from FurnitureCamden.co.uk; however, in the unlikely event that this is not the case, we can offer a 7 Day Money Back Guarantee, whatever the reason. Any goods returned within 7 days of receipt will attract a full refund, with the only liability on the customer bering the costs of delivery and collection. Should you want us to arrange a collection than we are happy to do so; the collection price is £50.The goods must be in their original packaging and be in perfect condition.
Goods are refunded within 30 days.
